 Didier Drogba’s influence at Chelsea has always gone beyond his goals on the pitch.


When he was here the first time – and the second time even more so – his leadership and influence was key.


Since leaving again he’s always chiming in with positive messages whenever we do well, and last week we discovered he had been talking to Romelu Lukaku on a regular basis for some time before the forward made his move.


Lukaku made his Blues debut yesterday against Arsenal, a typically Drogba-esque showing as he shredded the Gunners, and the King himself commented on Twitter:
