  Cristiano Ronaldo took the headlines with his winner as Manchester United beat Atalanta 3-2 after a dramatic comeback in the UEFA Champions League.  Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who enjoyed many battles with Sir Alex Ferguson down the years, assessed our performance against the Serie A side for beIN Sports. The talismanic Portuguese star headed home nine minutes from time – give the Reds a 3-2 victory after earlier goals from Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire to make a comeback possible. Rashford was a starter for the first time since his recovery from shoulder surgery and it was clear to see his impact throughout the match as United create countless chances on the night.  It should have been three nill to Chelsea – Bern Leno had absolutely no right whatsoever to get a hand to Romelu Lukaku’s thunderous header, and yet, that’s exactly what he did!


After opening the game’s scoring early in the first half, the eyes of Chelsea’s new signing would have lit up deep into the game’s second half after he found himself just yards from goal.


Heading the ball goalwards, every fan would have been expecting the big Belgian to have doubled his tally – however, Leno had other ideas and pulled off a wonder save.


Lukaku’s reaction says it all.

Lionel Messi showed up at the Camp Nou to deliver his farewell, but right from the get-go, it was clear that it was not going to be easy. Before even beginning to speak, Messi started to tear up and could barely speak.
